AERATION TERMS OF SERVICE

When we use the deep core aeration machine for any of our aeration packages or services we do not remove or pick up the cores left in the lawn area. It is recommended to let the cores or plugs decompose on their own and return to your soil.
Our aeration machines need to have a clear path to all lawn areas and require a minimum of 30 inches width to pass through gates, walks, ramps and access ways.
Our machines also cannot traverse stairs. A graded slop no greater than 22 degrees is allowed. If a group of large landings (no smaller than 30 inches by 30 inches) to step up our entire aeration machine from one to another is available we can move our aeration machine up and down that way. In other words if you can step up/down your lawn mower to each landing/step typically we can do the same with our aeration machine. WE DO NOT LIFT OUR MACHINES NOR DO WE PROVIDE OR USE RAMPS TO MOVE OVER STEPS.
All lawn areas need to be clear of all items including dog waste or poop, leaves, toys, furniture and other movable landscape features or items. If a yard has excessive dog waste in the yard or in the access path to the lawn we may skip the area and reschedule service. A rescheduling fee will be added to complete the service.
We do not move items from lawn area. We also do not move trampolines, small pools, furnishings, and downed tree limbs/branches. We will service around them if you are not able to move them prior to our arrival.
We will aerate around and through swing or play sets if swings or hanging items are moved up and out of the way. If they are left hanging we will aerate up to them but not through them. We will not aerate over shallow roots around a tree in or close to a lawn.

We only aerate areas that have existing lawn or grass. We will not aerate over dirt or bare soil unless specifically requested by customer.
We do not mark sprinkler head or other damageable items in a lawn. Customer is responsible to mark all sprinkler heads, shallow lines or areas where a core aeration machine is requested. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs during the aeration service due to our machines being used normally over your lawn area and accessing your lawn areas. We will help repair damage we caused if we damaged a clearly marked and properly installed sprinkler head. Clearly marked includes placing a marking flag no smaller than 3 inches by 3 inches directly next to the sprinkler head. Properly installed heads are heads installed soil level or slightly below soil level and retracted riser/shaft nozzles. Heads installed above soil level are easily breakable by simply walking over and running over with equipment. We are not responsible for any damage caused to shallow or unseen lines (sprinkler, dog fence, utility etc) marked or unmarked in any serviced lawn area or access path.

The fertilizer we apply in our Double Play, Triple Play and Power Seeding does NOT include weed control.

A double pass aeration can be added for an additional charge.

Our fertilizer is applied at a rate of 0.85-1.1lb of nitrogen per 1000 square feet of lawn area. This over seed is applied at 1lb of seed per 1000 square feet of lawn area. It does include HydraHume and wetting agents to help condition the soil to hold more water and release more nutrients into the lawns root system. It is recommended to water this fertilizer in as soon as possible but there is no requirement. The organic base is made up of dried poultry waste. It is safe for people, pets and pollinators. There is no entry restrictions to the areas applied for this product.

MILKY SPORE TERMS OF SERVICE

This application treats for Japanese Beetle Grubs in the lawn. One application can control grub populations for up to 10 years. It is safe for people, pets and pollinators. It is applied in a powder form every 3-5 feet in a grid pattern throughout the lawn area. Water in deeply after application to activate the Milky Spore. Because this treatment relies on hatched grubs to eat the Milky Spore and die causing the grub carcass to turn into more Milky Spore and multiply, the effects might not be notices for 1-2 years. It is a natural control for the grubs however it does not control or prevent the adult beetles from entering your property and eating plants or laying eggs.

CHEMICAL HERBICIDE TREATMENT TERMS OF SERVICE

These services include Ground Clear and Lawn Pest Control.
Ground Clear is a chemical spray to control grass and weeds in rock, mulch, bare dirt or concrete areas. This treatment typically will control new growth for 1-6 weeks depending on type of area product was applied. Rocked areas with a clean weed barrier under it will typically not show any new growth for 4-6 weeks, however a treatment on bare dirt might only control new growth for a few days. We do use glyphosate products however we can substitute an alternative herbicide upon request.
Lawn Pest Treatment controls lawn insects/pests including grubs, mites, gnats, spiders, ants, worms, beetles, flies and most larvae/eggs of insects. These treatments typically show control for 1-4 months depending on pest and time of year. We use both curative and preventative products. The products we use are both granular and liquid (depending on target pest and time of year). Both formulations will have watering instructions after application that will be emailed. These applications will also have a strict entry restriction for people and pets.

SEEDING TERMS OF SERVICE

Seeding services include our Triple Play, Power Seeding, Lawn Patching and Top Dressing with reseeding
Seeding services can be done anytime of year we are open however for best results we recommend completing these services in August and September. The other window of opportunity for best results is mid April through May.
Triple Play service includes a single pass core aeration, seasonal fertilizer (no weed control) and 1lb of seed per 1000 square feet of lawn. This service is not meant to fix bare or thinning lawn areas. It is a maintenance service for healthy existing lawns. We recommend completing this service 1-2 times per season.
Power Seeding includes a double pass core aeration, starter fertilizer (no weed control) and 3lbs of seed per 1000 square feet of lawn.
Customer is advised on recommended watering practices after we complete this service. Keeping the seed damp for 5-7 days will help the seed germinate quickly. Watering intermittently or saturating areas during germination will cause the seed to germinate at a lower rate. The key is to keep the ground damp for 24 hours a day 5-7 days and then once the seed shows signs of germinating to cut back watering to 2 times daily for another 5-7 days. Once the seed has grown to a 4inch height and can be mowed, watering can be cut back to once a day or every other day until the area gets to a desired thickness.

SPRINKLER “EXPRESS” BLOWOUT ONLY TERMS OF SERVICE

This sprinkler blowout service is our cheaper express option. You do not need to be home for service to be completed. We do not enter your property to turn off the water supply or use your timer box to control each zone. We do need access to your in ground sprinkler valves located typically in green boxes in or by your lawn areas. We connect to your outside access point (typically next to your backflow preventative device) and remove all the water from that access point to each of your accessible sprinkler heads. If there is a visible outside drain next to our connection point we will open the drain and leave it partially open. We also will partially open/close your backflow preventative device for the winter. We do not drain the water remaining on the inside of the house or water left between our connection point and the sprinkler supply valve. Not all systems qualify for this service. We do not blowout systems with gravity backflow preventative devices or direct connect systems.
This services does not include a scheduled appointment. You can choose the week to complete this service and we will schedule a day that week based on our service route. We will notify you what day we scheduled your service typically the Sunday starting that week. We will notify you again the day prior to service with a reminder of what needs to be done prior to our arrival and also give you an estimated arrival window (AM or PM). This service does not include a guarantee or warranty. We do email you upon completion of this service.

SPRINKLER WINTERIZATION TERMS OF SERVICE

This service includes an AM or PM appointment date. We also will turn off your water supply to the sprinkler, use your controller/timer to turn on/off each zone to blowout your exterior lines and drain any remaining water left in the line from our connection point to the turn off valve.
We do not work on systems with gravity backflow devices or direct connect systems. We do not connect to points in crawlspaces or inside dwellings.
We do leave your exterior valves open partially to allow any condensation or water from a damaged turn off valve a place to exit. It is best practice to leave your main drain open with a bucket under it and check it throughout the winter to ensure no water is present.
If you have an in ground shutoff valve, we require your “key” or tool to properly turn off the water.
