Lawn Seeding

As the seasons shift and the promise of spring beckons, it’s time to start thinking about rejuvenating your lawn. At Cowboy Lawn and Sprinkler, we’re gearing up to provide our top-notch seeding services to help you achieve a lush and vibrant lawn that will be the envy of the neighborhood. Whether you’re a seasoned lawn care enthusiast or new to the world of turf management, here’s everything you need to know to prepare for our seeding services.

Assess Your Lawn: Before scheduling our seeding services, take some time to assess the current state of your lawn. Are there bare patches that need filling in? Is the grass thinning in certain areas? Understanding the specific needs of your lawn will help us tailor our services to achieve the best results.

Request an Estimate: Reach out to our team to receive an estimate for any of our Seeding Services. In your request for service please include your goals and preferences, and we can recommend the most suitable seeding options for your needs. This is also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the process.

Choose the Right Seed and Service: We can work together to ensure we complete the right seeding service that meets your goals. We offer several seeding services from simple maintenance (Triple Play), over seeding existing lawns (Power Seeding), renewal (GreenBoost) or establishing (Top Dressing with Seed). We also have Lawn Patching for small areas that need attention. All of our services include a Kentucky Blue and Rye grass seed however we can customize your service to include any or all of the following certified seed: Kentucky Blue, Rye, Fine Fescue or Tall Fescue.

Clear the Area: Before we begin the seeding process, it’s important to clear the area of any debris, weeds, or existing vegetation that may hinder seed germination. Our team will take care of this step to ensure a clean and optimal seeding environment. The day prior to our service we recommend mowing your lawn shorter (between 1-2 inches) and bag the clippings. Ensure all items and debris are removed from service areas to allow the greatest seed to soil contact as possible. Hand raking or power raking areas may be necessary. Mark all sprinkler heads.

Watering and Maintenance: Water deeply (1 inch of water) the morning of or the day prior to service. Once the seeding is complete, proper watering and maintenance are essential for success. Our team will provide detailed instructions on watering schedules, mowing heights, and other maintenance tasks to help your new grass establish strong roots and thrive.

At Cowboy Lawn and Sprinkler, we’re dedicated to helping you achieve the lawn of your dreams. With our expert seeding services and personalized approach, you can look forward to enjoying a beautiful and healthy lawn that enhances the beauty and value of your property.
